Job Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner will act as a business advisor, aligning business objectives with employees and management. This role will serve as a consultant to management on Human Resources-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent.

The successful candidate will formulate partnerships across the Human Resources function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities
  1. Consults with management and employees, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  2. Builds trust with employees for assigned business groups, acting as an effective listener, coach, and problem solver of people issues.
  3. Investigates employee concerns and complaints, recommending appropriate actions.
  4. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and retention.
  5. Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within Centific.
  6. Participates in development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, objectives, short and long-range planning; assists in the development and implementation of projects and programs to assist in the accomplishment of established goals.
  7. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  8. Works with the HR team to scale HR processes as the company grows across multiple offices and locations globally.
  9. Provides support and guidance to managers in the employment and departure process, conducting interviews with prospective employees and administering/ coordinating pre-employment offers.
  10. Conducts exit interviews and prepares termination correspondence when needed, ensuring company policy and employment standards are followed.
  11. Recommends and implements employee relation policies and practices, ensuring uniform and equitable application of all HR policies and procedures.
  12. Conducts audits to identify employee relation issues and takes appropriate steps to address and resolve those issues.
  13. Partners with business management for strategic HR initiatives.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

8+ years of progressively responsible HR Generalist experience with demonstrated knowledge and experience in Employee relations practices, Employment laws, Compensation practices, Performance management, Training & development programs.

Knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Strong oral and written communication skills, administration skills, particularly planning, execution, and follow-up skills.

Excellent interpersonal and problem-resolution skills required. Must be able to establish strong credibility with all levels of management.

Ability to change strategies and match the needs of the situation.

The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, oriented on results, with the ability to move quickly and decisively.

Ability to manage day-to-day activities and exercise independence.

Strong conflict management skills.

Takes initiative to identify and anticipate employee needs and make recommendations for implementation.

Able to report to the office in Redmond, Washington.

Compensation Range: $140k-160K per annum.
