About the Role

UNC Health Care is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist I to join our esteemed team at UNC Health Nash. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality radiographic and diagnostic studies under the clinical direction of a Radiologist.

Responsibilities
  • Produce routine and specialized radiographs, including bone surveys, peg placements, and scoliosis series.
  • Apply radiation safety guidelines and patient protection protocols.
  • Provide emotional support, comfort, and general assistance to patients.
  • Coordinate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, film processors, and other departmental equipment.
  • Document patient records accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in the instruction of radiologic procedures to new employees and students.
  • Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and quality improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school or program of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Students within an accredited school or program recognized by the ARRT are eligible to apply.
