As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images using computed tomography (CT) scans. You will work under the clinical direction of a Radiologist and take responsibility for film quality, patient care, safety, and sterile technique. You will also provide education for staff and students.

Responsibilities:

* Patient Identification: Verify patient identification, obtain patient history, and assist patients and family members as needed.
* CT Scans: Obtain images per protocols, manipulate images according to protocols, and perform multi-planar and 3D reconstruction of image data.
* Contrast: Administer oral contrast to adult and pediatric patients according to protocols and establish intravenous lines.
* Image Transfer: Maintain a thorough understanding of PACS and transmit images to QC, UNCH's EMR, EPIC, and PACS.
* Other Duties: Perform tasks in a timely manner, run the schedule, and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited school or program of Radiologic Technology.
* Current Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Radiographers.
* Completion of formal training program in CT Technology is preferred along with ARRT-CT certification.
