Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Accuracy Specialist to join our team at Dollar General Corporation. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our inventory levels and maintaining efficient flow of merchandise through our distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Count and verify inventory levels in warehouse and pick line locations
  • Research and reconcile any discrepancies or issues
  • Troubleshoot inventory problems and report to inventory or area supervisor
  • Adjust existing inventory data as necessary
  • Complete all cycle counts, system scheduled counts, and control group counts daily
Requirements
  • Intermediate math skills and analytical skills
  • Computer skills, including ability to navigate WMS inventory control programs and Island Pacific programs
  • Knowledge of UPC functionality and food date codes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
Working Conditions

This role requires heavy lifting up to 65 pounds, exposure to heights above 10 feet, and walking long distances. The Cycle Counter Lead will work mostly in an office setting, while the Cycle Counter will be continuously exposed to heat, cold, dust, lighting, and noise in a high-traffic area.
