Job Title: Apprenticeship Program Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Apprenticeship Program Specialist to join our team at Wanzek Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and support of registered apprenticeship programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize data to enhance training needs and improve program outcomes
  • Build trust and work collaboratively with multiple levels of the organization to ensure effective program delivery
  • Perform daily operations and program management processes, including general program administration, data tracking, record keeping, and reporting
  • Ensure apprentices are progressing in the program by tracking On-the-Job Training in our system (ApprentiScope)
  • Track and maintain apprentice incentives to ensure timely payments and answer questions for apprentices
  • Attend and/or assist in-person training courses with instructors
  • Collaborate with program management to ensure compliance with DoL, IRA, and NCCER and company standards
  • Work with recruiters to conduct outreach and recruitment strategies for future apprentices to build a network of apprentices to support apprenticeship opportunities
  • Serve as an NCCER secondary representative and administrator
  • Manage the movement of Apprentices between job sites to ensure proper staffing ratios are maintained
  • Notify Recruitment on apprenticeship movement between job sites to ensure smooth transfer process and all onboarding requirements are met
  • Coordinate apprenticeship trainings, including sending and confirming attendees, confirming room availability, ordering supplies and food, organizing group activities, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Learning Management System (LMS) team to track Related Training Instruction (RTI) completions
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three years of relevant experience
  • Experience in training and development
  • Experience with apprenticeships preferred
  • NCCER experience/certifications preferred
