Job Overview:
A full-time, non-merit vacancy exists within the Circuit Court of Baltimore County, offering comprehensive County benefits. Non-Merit positions are not classified within the Baltimore County Government Classification and Compensation Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the implementation of Differentiated Case Management (DCM) plans for civil and domestic cases.
  • Assign cases to appropriate tracks under the DCM framework.
  • Coordinate mediators for cases as part of early Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes.
  • Assist judges and magistrates in scheduling conferences, both virtual and in-person.
  • Manage inquiries from attorneys and the public, providing assistance to self-represented parties.
  • Maintain and analyze case data, ensuring effective coverage for court events.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, along with at least one year of experience in a court, law office, or ADR-related field. Additional relevant experience may substitute for educational requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • In-depth understanding of court procedures and civil case processing.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with legal professionals and the public.
  • Familiarity with automated case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also managing individual responsibilities.
