Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Douglasville, GA.

Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining equipment and facilities in a clean and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI scans on patients, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for scans, including positioning and immobilizing them as needed.
  • Operate MRI equipment, including adjusting settings and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure patient-centered care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR) or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in MRI technology, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
