Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Waukon, IA.
Salary Range: $31.00 - $49.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
About the RoleAs a Physical Therapist with our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical therapy programs that help clients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
You will conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients affected by injury or disease, utilizing tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions while ensuring patient safety.
Documenting client information, establishing therapeutic plans, and modifying them as necessary will be an essential part of your responsibilities.
You will also educate clients and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises to be continued at home, demonstrating knowledge of age-related treatments and evaluations.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to determine client needs
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans
- Administer physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretches, and modalities
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams
To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and be licensed to practice in the state of Iowa.
A valid driver's license may be required depending on the facility location.
In addition, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
