Role Responsibilities

We are in search of a full-time, experienced HR Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, writing, communication, and computer skills.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Recruitment of new talent
  • Participation in job fairs
  • Conducting comprehensive background checks, including Sterling, DOH, Inspector General, Medicaid/Medicare, and Sex Offender Registry
  • Managing employee documentation
  • Facilitating new employee orientation and onboarding processes
  • Overseeing health benefits enrollment
  • Maintaining licenses for all RN, LPN, HHA, PCA staff
  • Ensuring compliance with DOH regulations
  • Supporting the agency during DOH surveys
  • Conducting in-service training in line with DOH standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR or a related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Familiarity with Department of Labor and Department of Health regulations

• Capability to thrive in a high-pressure environment

Preferred Language: English/Spanish

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
