Position Overview:
As the Vice President of Project Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution and implementation of over $3 billion in new loans for various infrastructure initiatives and associated portfolio entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) efforts across the infrastructure sector.
- Maintain continuous communication and coordination with lenders, external advisors, and internal teams.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and due diligence for projects and companies throughout the loan lifecycle.
Essential Duties:
- Assist in developing financial models in collaboration with CIM Investments and portfolio companies.
- Create detailed information memorandums for prospective lenders regarding potential investments.
- Evaluate proposals and present findings to the management team.
- Conduct research on capital markets for infrastructure asset acquisitions and financing transactions.
Compliance and Strategy:
- Ensure adherence to CIM Capital Markets policies, including lender outreach and due diligence processes.
- Participate in strategy discussions regarding capital market needs and keep management updated on processes.
Financial Analysis:
- Review asset-level budgets and forecasts to align with fund-level strategies.
- Perform financial analysis at the asset level to support capital market initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking or finance, with a focus on M&A, project finance, or transaction consulting.
- Experience in various infrastructure sectors such as renewable energy, transportation, and digital infrastructure is preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong understanding of infrastructure capital markets.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
