We are currently seeking a Strategic Information Advisor to contribute to the Global Health Training, Advisory, Support Contract (GHTASC) for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Bureau for Global Health (GH). Position Summary

The Strategic Information Advisor will primarily assist the USAID Bureau for Global Health Office of HIV/AIDS (OHA) within the Strategic Information, Evaluation, and Informatics Division as a Credence Institutional Support Contractor (ISC). This position is essential in supporting USAID's efforts in combating HIV through data-driven decision-making.

The Strategic Information, Evaluation, and Informatics Division provides strategic direction and technical leadership to manage and utilize data systems effectively for epidemic control. This division is instrumental in advancing data science and infrastructure, leading to improved decision-making and health outcomes.

The Advisor will engage in integrated data analysis and support the dissemination of HIV-related data and analytical tools to enhance program improvement and decision-making for USAID stakeholders. Collaboration with technical program experts at USAID Headquarters and Missions will be vital in developing and executing data analyses and visualizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with interagency PEPFAR teams and stakeholders to enhance analytical products.
  • Conduct data analyses for USAID headquarters and mission-level staff.
  • Collaborate with the SI Branch to create and present USAID-specific country program reports and training sessions.
  • Communicate analytical results through effective visualizations adhering to best practices.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency with the ability to obtain necessary clearances.
  • Experience in public health data management, preferably in HIV-related contexts.
  • Proficiency in analytics and statistical software such as Tableau, Excel, Stata, or SPSS; familiarity with R or Python is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
