Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education teacher to join our team. As a Special Education teacher at Ampersand Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work in a self-contained classroom setting, serving students in person. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with school teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities
  • Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in Special Education and adapt to changing student needs
Requirements
  • Pel with LBS-1 endorsement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with students with diverse needs
