The role of Production Assembler II involves executing fundamental assembly and installation tasks. This position will provide support and learning opportunities under the guidance of a Senior Assembler. The Production Assembler II will engage in basic manufacturing and cleaning activities within a dynamic production setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with a Senior Assembler to construct products and sub-components for vehicle production and other applications
- Facilitating the movement of vehicles and materials within the facility
- Adhering to the electronic build book for assembly guidelines
- Preparing and cleaning components and vehicles for production
- Ensuring a tidy and safe working environment
- Complying with established safety protocols
- Learning and executing assigned production processes to aid in vehicle and product assembly
- Working on vehicle systems
- Performing fabrication tasks such as grinding, cutting, and drilling using templates and fixtures
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive field
- Ability to work autonomously while adhering to specific instructions
- Understanding and demonstrating the proper use of calibrated torque tools
- Proficiency in computer operations
- Capability to learn and follow written directives
- Skill in fine hand manipulation
- Experience using power tools
- Attention to detail and quality of work
- Possession of basic mechanic tools
- Knowledge of fundamental automotive maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Completion of high school automotive shop courses
- Experience in personal vehicle maintenance
