Job Summary

The Government Sales Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the company's government sales efforts. This position will be responsible for managing correspondence, organizing contract files, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and maintain physical and electronic contract files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate certifications, deliveries, and responses to inquiries, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
  • Support security compliance efforts, including maintaining documentation and facilitating invoicing processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the CMMC team, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Research and prepare documentation to submit with vendor RFQs and in preparing solicitation packages.
  • Process orders for direct payment and resolve contract and payment issues.
  • Review incoming correspondence from various locations and coordinate appropriate action.
  • Participate in online training and webinars hosted by the government to maintain current industry knowledge and certifications.
  • Prepare documentation, organize, and maintain files to track protest responses.
  • Maintain and organize justification packages during the life of the contract and the three-year retention period.
  • Review contract awards to ensure compliance.
  • Complete quality assurance review and forms as applicable.
  • Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, and modification requests.
  • Provide documents, contracts, and proof of deliveries to facilitate government invoicing via WAWF.
  • Prepare and submit documents to complete contract-closeout.
  • Research and provide government-requested historical documentation.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred; trade school or military experience is a plus.
  • Requires solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills are required.
  • Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required.
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen, and E-verify.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
