Job Summary

Columbia River Mental Health Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient flow, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets clients and visitors, checks them in, and directs them to the appropriate staff member
  • Answers phone calls, responds to emails, and coordinates clinic and medical appointments
  • Collects co-pays and insurance information, verifies client data, and provides required paperwork
  • Schedules appointments for providers and clinicians, maintains tracking reports, and manages petty cash
  • Assists with correspondence, faxing, copying, and data entry, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous reception experience or specialized training preferred
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills, automated appointment scheduling, and word processing experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity
