Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class-A CDL driver to join our team at Quality Carriers. As a local driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods within a 250-mile radius, providing a stable and predictable schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination safely and efficiently
  • Transport goods within a designated area, adhering to company policies and regulations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service and weight limits
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Valid Class-A CDL with 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 1 year of tanker experience in the last 10 years
  • 5 years of safe driving experience with no incidents
  • Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
  • 3 years of recent Hazmat experience
  • MSHA certification or willingness to obtain
  • No alcohol or drug-related convictions in the past 10 years
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical, pulmonary function test, and drug screen
