Job Summary
Quality Carriers is seeking a Class-A CDL Local Company Driver to join our team. As a Local Driver, you will have regular routes within 250 miles and around your local area, providing a great work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport hazardous materials and other products.
- Drive safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Class-A CDL with 1 year of Tractor Trailer experience in the last 3 years or 1 year of Tanker Experience in the last 10 years.
- Must have 5 years of safe driving experience with no incidents.
- Must have Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements.
- Must have 3 years of recent Hazmat experience.
- MSHA Certified or willing to obtain.
- No alcohol or drug-related convictions in the past 10 years.
- Willing to be clean-shaven to meet safety and respiratory fit test requirements.
- Must pass a DOT physical, Pulmonary function test, and Drug Screen.
