Job Summary

Modern Technology Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Technician to provide specialized Information Technology (IT) and network administration support to a Government Office at WPAFB, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front-line support to customers, gathering information and managing support tickets using a JIRA-based system.
  • Offer frequent status updates to customers while support tickets are prioritized and completed.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the IT support process.
  • Reset customer passwords, assist with printing issues, and provide general information as required.
  • Utilize knowledge of O365, Office 20xx, Windows Desktop Operating Systems, and basic computer hardware.
  • Perform light scripting and programming tasks, as well as systems administration duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a professional behavior and effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a classified environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance, with unescorted entry and work within classified SAP and SCI facilities.
  • Desired: 12 months or more of experience in a SAP environment within the last 5 years.
Additional Information
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position, due to contract requirements.
  • Up to 10% travel to CONUS area.
