Job Summary

Crystal D is seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to play a pivotal role in the finance and accounting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing a range of accounting functions to ensure precision, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely posting of entries.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights and analysis to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in the industry specific to the company (e.g., manufacturing).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of advanced accounting topics such as consolidations, foreign currency transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
