Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular security patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to detect and prevent potential security threats.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, including greeting and assisting individuals as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
  • Participate in training and professional development to maintain and enhance security skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Healthcare security experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with police, security, or military background.
  • Successful completion of all department required training, including Level 3 TACT training, handcuffing, OC spray, ASP baton, and physical control tactics training.
Working Conditions

The Security Officer will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with patients, visitors, and staff. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and safety.
