Position Summary:
The Air and Ocean Operations Agent plays a crucial role in managing the daily operational functions within the air and ocean division.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Shipment Management:
    • Oversees air and ocean import arrivals, customs clearances, and dispatching of trucking services.
    • Engages with clients to coordinate shipment pickups and deliveries.
    • Prepares necessary documentation for airlines, ocean carriers, and trucking services.
    • Evaluates and selects the most suitable airline, ocean carrier, and trucking vendors.
    • Collaborates with international partners to foster business relationships and coordinate shipments.
    • Assists in the development and optimization of internal processes.
  • Quoting:
    • Provides quotes to direct clients and overseas agent partners as needed.
    • Supports the sales team in costing and quoting activities for business growth.
  • Financial Management:
    • Works to enhance cost efficiency from airlines, ocean carriers, and vendors.
    • Generates invoices for shipments to clients and agents, ensuring profitability.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience in Air and Ocean Export, though not mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to consistently manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capable of thriving in a dynamic and flexible industry environment.
  • Mathematical and analytical skills for developing and interpreting financial/data records.
  • Proactive and self-motivated team player.
  • Effective communicator of ideas.
