Job Title: RTL Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced RTL Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge AI chips. As an RTL Engineer at Etched, you will play a critical role in ensuring the correct and efficient operation of our chips.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement design verification strategies for our existing and upcoming ASIC designs
  • Work closely with state-of-the-art architectures for machine learning, including transformers
  • Collaborate with the uArch team to ensure blocks meet timing and area constraints
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in RTL development
  • Proficiency in standard RTL design and synthesis tools
  • Familiarity with verification work and writing test benches
  • Ability to learn quickly about transformers and other aspects of modern artificial intelligence
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with high-speed digital logic
  • Familiarity with PCIe, Ethernet, or HBM technologies
  • Knowledge of numerical representations and functions
  • Ability to program with Python or another scripting language
