Job Summary:
We are seeking a Substitute Staff Member to join our team at Steve & Kate's Camp. As a Substitute Staff Member, you will play a vital role in facilitating activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness for our campers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Activities: Seamlessly step into camp on an as-needed basis and facilitate activities that promote creativity, play, and learning.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Actively supervise campers, maintain an organized and approachable activity space, and ensure compliance with Camp Policies.
- Support Campers: Provide guidance and support to campers, including monitoring safety and wellness, and reporting any concerns or incidents.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive camp environment.
Requirements:
- Age Requirement: At least 16 years of age.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred.
- Certifications: First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp.
