Chess Instructor

Are you passionate about chess and eager to share your knowledge with others? Do you have a knack for making complex concepts accessible and fun? We're seeking talented chess tutors to join our dynamic team at Chess Wizards

• Competitive Compensation: Earn $55-$75 per hour for a half-session, plus travel compensation for trips over 12.5 miles.
• Flexible Scheduling: Teach between 1-5 one-hour classes per week in the afternoon, with the flexibility to choose your schedule.
• Ongoing Support: Receive full training, curriculum, and materials to ensure your success as a Chess Wizards tutor.

As a Chess Wizards tutor, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on young minds, fostering a love for chess and promoting good sportsmanship. Our comprehensive curriculum and materials will guide you in creating engaging, interactive classes that bring out the best in your students.

• Chess Ability: While a USCF rating is a plus, we're more interested in your passion for teaching and your ability to make chess fun and accessible.
• Teaching Experience: Previous experience as a teacher, tutor, or camp counselor is a plus, but not required.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for working with children and conveying complex concepts in a clear, concise manner.
