Job Title: Assistant Director of Teen and Staff Engagement

At B'nai B'rith Camp, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director of Teen and Staff Engagement to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to build a vibrant Jewish community through program development and engagement of teens and young adults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programs for teen and staff engagement, including planning for program improvements and growth.
  • Supervise Unit Head Leadership Staff and provide guidance on program development and implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of our community.
  • Recruit and supervise staff, including camper and staff recruitment, summer camp staff program development, and supervision of Unit Head Leadership Staff.
  • Develop and implement programs for Portland City BBYO and supervise chapters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with post-graduate work in a related field welcomed.
  • At least 3 years of experience in youth services, Jewish camping, or similar non-profit work.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity and comfort with Jewish values and traditions, with a commitment to prioritizing inclusivity in all work.

B'nai B'rith Camp is a premier camp and conference center in the Pacific Northwest, dedicated to providing the finest summer overnight camp experience for today's campers while preparing them to be tomorrow's community leaders. We are licensed by the State of Oregon, accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), and a member of the JCC Association.
