Job Summary:

This position performs routine and complex laboratory procedures, including specimen processing, testing, and result calculation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory instrumentation and equipment, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Process patient specimens, including collection, handling, and distribution.
  • Perform quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely laboratory results.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
  • One year of approved clinical laboratory experience, including a clinical rotation through various laboratory sections.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) from a recognized accrediting agency.
