Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist II to join our Laboratory Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests, analyzing results, and providing accurate diagnoses to support patient care. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and the advancement of medical knowledge.
Responsibilities- Perform complex laboratory tests, including blood and body fluid analysis, and interpret results to support patient care.
- Analyze and report laboratory results to healthcare providers, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other laboratory staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient laboratory operations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in laboratory technology and techniques.
- BA/BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, or related science.
- Minimum of three years of general laboratory experience in a hospital or equivalent setting.
- Current valid California license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or limited California license in a specialization such as microbiology.
