Job Title: Speech Pathologist - Pediatric Care Specialist

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide in-patient and/or out-patient services, focusing on functional skills to enhance development, restore function, and prevent disability from pediatric conditions, illness, and injury. Evaluation, treatment, and home programming will be provided for children with feeding and swallowing disorders, articulation, voice, resonance, and fluency, and receptive/expressive language disorders. Additionally, the position will include patient and caregiver education and consultation to other professionals, clinics, and agencies, both within Cook Children's Health Care System and within the community.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat children with various speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide education and consultation to patients, caregivers, and other professionals
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in speech/language pathology
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • BLS required
  • State license or eligible for state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology, or eligible for application upon completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and must be obtained within 12 months of hire
