Family Service League Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Mental Health Clinic team in East Hampton. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing individual and group therapy to children, families, and adults with a range of mental health and substance use disorders.
Responsibilities:- Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide evidence-based therapy to adults, adolescents, and children with mental health and substance use disorders.
- Complete all clinical documentation in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health in an electronic medical record (EMR).
- Link and follow up with clients during the stabilization period and immediately following.
- Coordinate with outside providers and collateral contacts to ensure comprehensive care.
- Attend routine supervisions and team meetings to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Masters degree in social work required.
- LMSW, LMHC, LMFT or related licensed clinical degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting required; clinic experience preferred.
- Prior experience diagnosing using the DSM V and experience with behavioral/therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records required.
- Valid and clean NYS Drivers License required.
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
