About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ABA Therapy Lead Specialist to join our team in Newport News/Hampton Area. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families affected by autism.

Job Summary

The ABA Therapy Lead Specialist will provide leadership and coordination of ABA-based therapy services for clients in their natural environments, including homes, schools, and communities. The successful candidate will work closely with our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Behavior Technicians to develop and implement treatment plans that prioritize client goals and progress.

Butterfly Effects is a national leader in autism treatment, employing over 160 BCBAs and 2,000 Behavior Technicians across 12 states. Our mission is to deliver family-centric ABA treatment that fosters joyous lives for children and families affected by autism.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate ABA-based therapy services in clients' natural environments
  • Partner with clients/families to implement treatment plans and training opportunities
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and Behavior Technicians on case supervision
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ABA-based services that exceed client expectations
Requirements
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in ABA as a Behavior Technician or RBT
  • Enrolled in ABA graduate program or working towards BCBA certification preferred
  • A love for working with children and families
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $45,600 - $60,800 per year, based on experience, education, and certifications. Our benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
