Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the production team to achieve daily targets and ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Implement and enforce established safety and quality policies.
  • Train and coach team members in best practices and standardized work.
  • Monitor progress towards team goals and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to drive safety and quality initiatives.
  • Perform production duties and fill-in as required to cover for absenteeism and vacation.
  • Drive 5S principles and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain process parameters and records, and troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
  • Ensure effective shift handoffs and manage resources to produce required results.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; required.
  • Associate degree; preferred.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to mechanical machinery.
  • Lean 6 sigma trained.
