Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, mentor, and cultivate all store personnel to generate new business and sustain profitability. This encompasses training staff on operational systems, policies, compliance, account management, recovery, and daily performance metrics.
- Manage overall store performance by meeting or surpassing corporate performance benchmarks, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Analyze and instruct team members on various performance reports.
- Guide your team to achieve or exceed sales targets by promoting loan or pawn products to customers, identifying local marketing initiatives, leveraging business partnerships, obtaining referrals, and engaging in community events.
- Supervise and uphold office security while executing proper opening and closing protocols, including management of vault, cash drawer, and bank transactions.
- Ensure a workplace that adheres to corporate policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain a visually appealing and professional environment that reflects the values and mission of the organization. This includes overseeing store layouts and ensuring promotional materials are displayed appropriately.
- Utilize a personal vehicle for bank transactions and other business-related activities throughout the workday.
- Work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently to meet individual and team performance standards.
- Employ strong interpersonal skills to communicate and engage with customers and team members at all levels.
- Availability for a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including some weekend hours, is essential for this role. A typical full-time schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 45 hours per week.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of two years of experience and proven success in a supervisory or leadership role within retail, financial services, customer service, or related fields.
- Experience in operations within a leadership capacity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle for business use (mileage compensated).
- Proficiency in phone systems, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other relevant systems.
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
- Background check required (subject to applicable law).
- Ability to meet the physical demands of this role, which frequently include: remaining stationary, moving and transporting up to 25 pounds, navigating inside and outside of the store, and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Associate degree or higher.
- Experience in retail, sales, or financial services.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is advantageous and may be necessary for certain locations.
