Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Loader Operator to contribute to our operations. The individual in this role will be tasked with planning and executing warehouse and material yard activities for the organization. This position operates in a dynamic environment requiring full-time commitment, including potential overtime and weekend work. This role involves spending a significant portion of time outdoors, while also having access to a climate-controlled cab.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Unloading delivery trucks containing large materials and relocating them to designated areas within the yard or warehouse.
  • Loading and unloading company vehicles and trailers utilizing industrial forklifts.
  • Safely operating various warehouse and yard machinery, including forklifts, front loaders, and excavators.
  • Performing basic arithmetic operations accurately.
  • Maintaining the equipment utilized in daily operations.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of stock, warehouse, and yard areas.
  • Reporting daily on materials issued for various tasks.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required, and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Capability to pass a drug screening and motor vehicle record check.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Commitment to meeting schedules and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and record-keeping practices.
  • Effective communication skills, maintaining a calm and efficient demeanor.

Compensation:

  • Starting compensation at $18 per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • A comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision, available after 90 days of employment.
  • Paid holidays and PTO.
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching after six months of employment.
