Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Monro Inc. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our automotive service department.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule guest appointments to optimize technician productivity and ensure timely completion of vehicle services and repairs.
  • Assist in achieving sales goals by providing excellent customer service and recommending tire and service products.
  • Attend to all guest needs, including sales, service, complaints, and adjustments.
  • Build strong relationships with guests to maximize customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Assist technicians in communicating repair and service needs to guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to Monro standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, including the oversight of tire and part inventory.
  • Provide direction and oversight to technicians and assist with services and repairs as needed.
  • Assist in organizing the store's workflow to ensure efficient use of technician skill levels.
  • Understand and adhere to company policies, governmental standards, and safety protocols.
  • Perform Store Manager functions as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • ASE certification and State Inspection License (where applicable) preferred.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve, manage inventory, and provide excellent customer service.
