About the Position

We are seeking a Financial Portfolio Manager to join our Asset Allocation Group, supporting efforts in delivering portfolio solutions for clients. The manager will assist in strategy advice and implementation, working closely with Product Strategists and the product strategy team.

  • Focusing on client needs and delivering tailored portfolio solutions
  • Supporting Product Strategists in delivering portfolio solutions for clients
  • Assisting in data/information coordination and analysis to leverage the effectiveness of the Asset Allocation Product Strategy team
  • Maintaining marketing materials, such as presentation books and general education materials
Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting Product Strategists in delivering portfolio solutions for clients
  • Performing detailed portfolio research and quantitative analysis using Excel, Bloomberg, and Business Query
  • Assisting in the development of new products and funds
  • Working with the product strategy team to prioritize opportunities and ensure continued connectivity with clients
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of portfolio construction concepts, multiple asset classes, and asset class interaction. Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 2-3 years of asset management or wealth management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting preferred
  • Well organized, high energy level, self-starter, focus on production and results orientation
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with all levels of personnel both internally and externally
  • Strong mathematical and quantitative abilities
  • Enthusiasm for the financial markets and investment management
  • Ability to understand financial concepts (portfolio construction, asset class properties) and discuss them intelligently
