Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Intake Coordinator to join our team at the Discovery Mood and Anxiety Program. As a Clinical Intake Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating admissions, supporting patients and their support systems, and facilitating a smooth transition into our program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate admissions with the admissions department and facility, ensuring a seamless intake process for patients.
  • Support patients and their support systems through the onsite assessment and admission process, providing education on the admission process and need for treatment.
  • Facilitate groups, including multifamily groups, as needed by the Program Director or Facility Coordinator.
  • Manage the milieu and oversee patient activities and interactions, promoting a positive and caring environment.
  • Build rapport with patients through education and review of patient rights and expectations within the Welcome Packet.
  • Complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner, establishing and achieving realistic goals within the position.
  • Maintain the confidential nature of Outpatient Programming and related activities.
  • Travel to other facilities to attend trainings or provide assistance, as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in a relevant field, required.
  • Completion of state requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions, required.
  • Holds an active clinical license in the state of Maryland or operates under a Maryland-approved supervisor.
  • Obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Must possess a current driver's license and be in good standing.
