Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain hotel equipment, including furniture, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and finishing furniture and structures.
  • Check and make minor repairs on electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing and electrical systems according to our schedule.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards.
  • Participate in the hotel's Fire, Safety, Security, and Environmental plan and committees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous engineering experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as Lockout Tag Out, MSDS, and safety awareness information.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with guests and associates.
  • Ability to work independently and analyze problems to implement solutions.
  • Represent the company in a courteous and well-groomed manner.
  • Ability to use and understand hand and power tools.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, twist, and stretch.
  • Flexible with a positive attitude.
