What You Will Be Responsible For

This role involves the installation of sophisticated integrated security solutions, including the wiring, equipment setup, and programming of access control systems, CCTV, digital recorders, network recorders, and intercom systems for various clients.

How You Will Execute Your Duties

Skilled in installing cabling, field equipment, and control equipment enclosures at customer sites in compliance with national electrical codes, company standards, and client specifications.

Proficient in using electronic testing tools to diagnose complex issues during installations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, software/system programs, schematics, and operational manuals.
Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning equipment and conduct operational tests.
Perform system checks to ensure proper functionality.
Familiarity with computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, CCTV, and access control systems; media storage.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, while fostering cooperative working relationships.
Analytical skills to assess information.
Capable of working independently to complete installation tasks and self-motivated to achieve job completion.
Complete and submit all required documentation related to job assignments.
Proficient in using hand and power tools to securely mount and install equipment.
Route cables through access points, roof spaces, and cavity walls to connect fixtures; position and terminate cables, wires, and strapping.
Drill necessary holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, and floors.
Conduct training for end-users.
Ability to identify issues within a customer network, where applicable.
What We Seek
Required
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

A+ certification is mandatory.

Extensive experience (3+ years) with Digital & Analog Camera Systems.

Extensive experience (3+ years) with Access Control Systems.

Understanding of Alarm Systems' functionality and design.

Experience with IP addressable security devices (2+ years).

Proficient in computer operations, including advanced TCP/IP networking skills.

Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Proficient in all aspects of ADT A.I. core card access and CCTV systems.

Preferred
Associate Degree or completion of a 2-year technical program is preferred.

Completion of an industry-recognized apprenticeship program may substitute for formal education requirements.

Specialized Training/Certification in the Following Areas:
Access Control (minimum of 3 certifications from the following)

Prowatch

C-Cure 800 or C-Cure 9000

Casi- Facility Commander or Picture Perfect or Secure Perfect

CCTV- Analog (minimum of 1 certification from the following)

Bosch

Pelco

American Dynamics

Cisco

CCTV- IP (minimum of 1 certification from the following)

Genetec

Indigo Vision

Visitor Management (experience in any of the following preferred)

Honeywell Lobby Works

Stopware

Access Sentry

Additional Experience is a Plus:
MCSE, CCNA, Surveillance Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, and Security Gate Operators.
