Job Summary:


Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Junior Computer Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Junior Computer Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for integrating, planning, coordinating, and facilitating information system-related activities.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Integrate, plan, coordinate, and facilitate information system-related activities
  • Analyze organizational Information Technology (IT) needs from an operational and strategic perspective
  • Complete hardware and software upgrades
  • Perform systems management/integration functions to improve existing computer systems/environment
  • Recommend improvements to computer system capabilities and workflow
  • Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration, or network issues
  • Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations
  • May be required to analyze or recommend commercially available software
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in relevant subject OR
  • Associate degree and 2+ years relevant experience OR
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and holds a relevant technical certification with at least 1+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Active Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals.
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
  • Experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone with good phone skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.
