Job Description:

As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. You will deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in one-on-one and small-group settings, adapting curriculum to meet the diverse requirements of students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop IEPs: Create personalized plans that cater to the distinct needs and abilities of each student.
  • Instruct Students: Deliver effective instruction in one-on-one and small-group settings, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with general education teachers and specialists to provide appropriate accommodations and modifications, promoting a cohesive learning environment.
  • Monitor Progress: Regularly assess student progress, updating IEPs as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
