Job Summary

The Bar Back is a key member of our team, responsible for supporting our bartenders by restocking products and ensuring a seamless customer experience. As a Bar Back, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of our bars and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Restocking: Restock products for the bar, including beverages, alcoholic beverages, and supplies, to ensure that our bartenders have everything they need to provide excellent service.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar and surrounding areas, including sweeping and mopping the floor, cleaning and stacking floor mats, and emptying and relining trash cans.
  • Guest Service: Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and take action to inform our bartenders, ensuring that we provide a safe and responsible service.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in the work area, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Teamwork: Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests.
  • Certifications: Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit, as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Math Skills: Ability to calculate basic math functions, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages, as they relate to product inventory.
  • Language: Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume bar capacity is preferred.
