Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavior support services to patients attending our on-campus school. The primary function of the BCBA is to plan, develop, and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or other behavioral and social/communication challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with ASD and other behavioral challenges
  • Consult with and teach instructional team members regarding pro-active, educational, programming, and behavioral supports
  • Collaborate with team members, related service providers, families, and other agencies as appropriate
  • Work closely with the Director of Clinical Services to ensure effective implementation of behavioral support services
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field with specialist knowledge of behavioral health and treatment philosophies and professional practices
  • BCBA certification and associated licensure in the State of Virginia preferred
  • Experience working with children and adolescents who experience behavior dysfunction secondary to brain injury, autism, and other developmental disabilities, chronic medical disorders, and other severe and chronic impairments
