Job Summary

The Lease Up Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential rental community. This includes supervising on-site staff, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the property is rented to its fullest capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of community transactions, including annual budgets and income projections, rent rolls, and delinquency reports.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to secure prospective residents and maximize rental income.
  • Train leasing staff in closing techniques and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and input into the computer system accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Monitor and analyze traffic logs, conversion ratios, budget guidelines, renewal information, and marketing data to provide up-to-date and accurate information to stakeholders.
  • Ensure community appearance and repairs are noted and completed on a timely basis.
  • Provide exceptional service to residents, future residents, and internal team members.
  • Listen to resident requests, concerns, and comments, and follow and enforce all safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of multiple PC software packages, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent office skills, including typing and proofreading.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and follow through on assignments with little direction.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and demonstrate effective and professional conflict resolution and customer service skills.
