Job Description

Job Summary:

Avante at Lake Worth, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled External Admissions and Marketing Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with physicians and community-based referral sources, increasing Medicare and overall census in the building, and representing the facility at community functions and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians and community-based referral sources.
  • Review and assess prospective residents by reviewing their medical, physical, and psychosocial needs, and obtain a decision for admission within a 15-minute guideline.
  • Assist physicians in completing the company credentialing process if they wish to be a facility attending physician.
  • Represent the facility at community functions, events, and fund raisers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with area ALFs, Home Health Agencies, Retirement Communities, and Senior Centers.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred, but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
  • Software knowledge - Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Core Competencies required: Strategic Skills, Operating Skills, Courage, Energy & Drive, Organizational Skills, and Personal and Interpersonal Skills.
