About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technical Account Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our National Security organization, you will play a critical role in driving customer adoption and use of our cloud services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services
  • Provide technical guidance and advocacy to help customers plan and build solutions using best practices
  • Proactively monitor and maintain customers' AWS environments to ensure operational health
  • Build and maintain close relationships with customers to understand their business and technical needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer success and growth
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in technical engineering, design, implementation, or operations with distributed applications
  • 5+ years of experience in operational parameters and troubleshooting for multiple cloud services
  • Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical lead
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications (e.g. CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP)
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in technical engineering, design, implementation, or operations with distributed applications
  • Experience in Informational Technology operations
  • Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more decision maker(s)
  • Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment
  • Experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings Federal/DoD Clearances
