We are recruiting for a per diem Speech Language Pathologist to work a minimum of two weekend days per month. May pick up additional weekday or weekend shifts as available.

In this position, you will assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders in inpatient acute and rehabilitation settings.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames
  • Provide patient and family education and training

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CF Certification
  • CPR Certification
  • Acute care experience preferred

Rehabilitation Team Offers:

We offer a training/mentorship program for skills including but not limited to: tracheostomy/vent, Videofluoroscopy Swallowing Studies, Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing, and Videostroboscopy Studies.
