Key Responsibilities:

  • Takes receipt and payment from guests, processes payment, and returns correct change/credit card receipt.
  • Provides exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests have a positive experience.
  • Assists the Host Person as necessary, maintaining a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Maintains the house bank, accurately accounting for money at all times.
  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of every register in the outlet, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Completes all reports required for end-of-shift, maintaining accurate records.
  • Must be available for scheduled work, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Exhibits the Family Style Service model at all times, upholding the highest standards of customer service.

Requirements:

  • One to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a current Health Card, Liquor License, or other required certifications as required by geographical area of the property.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, with the ability to read and write simple correspondences, memos, and lists.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to work with weight measurements, volume, and distance.
  • Must be able to use a Point-of-Sale system and cash register system accurately, effectively, and expediently.

Language Skills:

English is the primary language used in this role. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues is essential.
