Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Host Cashier to join our team at Carnegie's Cafe in Tropicana Laughlin. As a Host Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate payment of all guest checks, providing friendly and courteous service to guests, and maintaining the house bank issued to you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Takes receipt and payment from guests, processes payment, and returns correct change/credit card receipt.
- Provides friendly and courteous service to guests.
- Assists the Host Person as necessary.
- Maintains the house bank issued to them, accounting for money in the bank at all times.
- Maintains a working knowledge of every register in the outlet.
- Completes all reports required for end-of-shift.
- Must be available for scheduled work.
- Must exhibit the Family Style Service model at all times.
Requirements:
- One to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess and be able to maintain a current Health Card, Liquor License, or other required certifications as required by geographical area of the property.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
