About the Role

PAM Health, LLC is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients, as well as providing emotional support and comfort.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as using the bathroom, taking medication, and getting in and out of bed.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Assist with patient transfers, including lifting, turning, and positioning patients in bed or wheelchair.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • None required, but a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
