Position Overview:
Certified Healthcare Assistants play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care to our patients.

We provide a Clinical Ladder for Medical Assistants to encourage growth and development within our integrated system. Our Medical Assistants are valued team members with a significant voice in our organization.

In collaboration with clinic staff and operations, our MAs have developed a structured approach to enhance productivity and efficiency, ensuring manageable workloads and clear pathways for professional advancement.

Additionally, we have established one of the pioneering MA Apprenticeship programs in partnership with an accredited local college to educate and prepare future Medical Assistants for success.


This role involves providing support and assumes responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.

You will promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients in alignment with care standards, guidelines, and the delegation of medical services as defined by the State Medical Practice Act.


Your responsibilities may include performing various clinical tasks as directed by an authorized healthcare provider in accordance with our Physician Group Scope of Practice. You may also assist with administrative duties and scheduling of tests and/or patient appointments. MAs are accountable for accurate chart documentation and maintenance of medical records.

Furthermore, you will participate in or lead in-service presentations and seminars to foster personal and professional growth, demonstrating accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.


Compensation Details:
In Colorado, pay ranges begin at $20.00 for Non-Certified Medical Assistants and $21.25 for Certified Medical Assistants.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Certified Healthcare Assistant position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

- High School diploma required

- Medical Assistant certification or registration from an approved organization, required

- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required

- Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

$30.69 / hour
